Interesting Subban trade
I can't see Fleury waiving for Ott
I think you underpaid your RFAs

I love it!

I’ve been pumping the PK for Zaitsev trade for a while and I really like the VGK trade for Fleury and the 22’ 1st

i think it would take us more than a third to get subban for zaitsev though. Well, maybe not

I think a second would get it done if a third won't

It depends if Fleury wants to be a starter or not.

Which RFAs would make more?

Perhaps its more AAV for number of years signed. I think Duclair wants more for that many years.
Tierney as a C I think can get more, perhaps I'm wrong

I don't see Melnyk being OK with retaining on Nilsson if they get Fleury back.
I'm not sure if Vegas could use the Gaborik LTIR with no significant non-arbitration RFAs (maybe if they traded for one like Debrusk).

Vegas would eat paying Gaborik for a year if it meant they didn't give Ottawa a high pick. Realistically Fleury is going through Ottawa for retained Salary or buyout. Ottawa gets picks from the team they trade Fleury to at 50% Salary and Vegas eats Gaborik giving up NJD 3rd because Melnyk is cheap and doesn't like giving real money to LTIR. I don't think Vegas brings anyone back.

Nobody is paying Gaborik but the insurance company since he's on LTIR and done.

Partially correct. They are still paying 20% of his salary approx. 615K. Is Melnyk that cheap? Probably
