Perhaps its more AAV for number of years signed. I think Duclair wants more for that many years.
Tierney as a C I think can get more, perhaps I'm wrong

I don't see Melnyk being OK with retaining on Nilsson if they get Fleury back.
I'm not sure if Vegas could use the Gaborik LTIR with no significant non-arbitration RFAs (maybe if they traded for one like Debrusk).

Ottawa gets picks from the team they trade Fleury to at 50% Salary and Vegas eats Gaborik giving up NJD 3rd because Melnyk is cheap and doesn't like giving real money to LTIR. I don't think Vegas brings anyone back.

Partially correct. They are still paying 20% of his salary approx. 615K. Is Melnyk that cheap? Probably
