    I think the DeAngelo contract would be a little more $ & term, but don't hate this. I think if you move DeAngelo at some point instead of overpaying him basically be your 3rd pair+PP guy, you find a trade for him and just sign a cheap UFA like Trevor vanRiemsdyk. I also think Fast would move on with the hopes Vitali can fill out the right side too, othewise not bad

    He shouldn't, but he will - some team will overpay for his performance last season.

    I don't see anyone giving an offersheet. 4.5M over 2 yrs is a good bridge while waiting on Lundkvist. No one thinks ADA is worth a 1st and 3rd (outside our fan base)

    I know but he is our best defender. Trading him would demolish our D-Core. Just look at us this season when he was out for a week or so we got scored on endlessly

    the word today is that the Rangers put their QO on him (which he's not going to take) and it would take 5+m to sign him without going to arbitration; something I don't think the Rangers want to do for the 3 year term they are negotiating with him. Expecting it to go to arb.
