Description

In TSN's latest (and final I believe), they had the Devils taking C/LW Cole Perfetti with their 7th overall pick. What shocked me was to see Swedish winger Alexander Holtz fall out of the top 10 and be picked 13th overall. I believe GM Tom Fitzgerald has been high on both players, so why not take a shot at drafting both of them.

Yeah good luck with that Detroit's probably taking Perfetti at #4 even though i'd rather take either Raymond or Rossi at that position instead. I'd be shocked if Holtz falls to #13 he should be top 10.

I really don't see Holtz slipping further than 11 at worst, Nashville probably takes him if NJD, BUF, and WPG all pass (MIN probably targets a C). I've long thought Button's draft rankings are incredibly weird. Why is Nashville taking a goalie when they have Saros and Ingram? They desperately need scoring, and have for a long time. Their prospect pool is full of centres and defensemen, so an elite sniper winger seems right up their alley.

Yeah i just saw it they've us picking Jamie Drysdale at #4, Guess it's possible but i think Yzerman goes Forward this year.

If you guys don’t pick Raymond, we are 100% taking him. There has literally been 0 buzz about Drysdale to Ottawa. Everyone in the Sens organization been raving about Raymond.

He does. Some ppl have a concern about his size but I really don’t see any weaknesses with him. He’s strong on his skates, can shield the puck and is a pest like Marchand. Maybe his only concern is goal scoring but who knows, he might be a good shooter eventually. He will be a medium end 1C imo

Panthers decline. You’ll have to give a lot more to move up 5 spots. Cause the panthers could use holtz just as much if he drops.

They don’t call him Gretzby for nothing. He actually plays in my city so I got to watch him a few times. So good with the puck. But I think you need to play him with a goal scorer to use him the most effective way. And you guys have Zadina/Mantha he could play with

Same here, Perfetti's skating worries me. He looks awkward when he skates from the films i see of him. Rossi too me just looks more like a dynamic skater like Jamie Drysdale.
