honestly surprised they brought him back cause he was meh this season and considering they had the cap space to go for an upgrade but I guess they wanted to go cheap.

A little higher AAV than I thought but glad he's back. Brossoit & Hellebuyck have the same off-season trainer and get on quite well so as a tandem they make a good pair. I think he's better than he showed last year, especially because there's no way the Jets have a worse defence

Imo this is a good signing. Brossiot is at his best when he is playing frequently, which will be the case in a condensed season for 2020-2021. He’s also much better than his stats show. He will be better next year with a much better defence in front of him. Sure he lets in a soft goal every now and then but what backup doesn’t?

I believe Mikhail Berdin is eligible as he is an RFA in 2021

He was a good backup last year. This year, below-average performance. But WPG's defense didn't help him much so

I think it’s a small chance the Kraken take Brossoit anyway. There will be better goalies available

I think they just meant to meet the exposure requirement, since Brossoit as a UFA doesn’t meet the requirement.

Not a bad signing. He has better numbers than Dell overall and think most people have Dell signing for around 2M.

I didn't expect Brossoit to get re signed. He is a good backup who had a down year. I think this is a decent deal tbh.

yes but makes no sense honestly. Jets had the space for a better backup but chose to go for a guy who had one good year and didnt let their main guy rest lul this year due to his struggles. Basically hellebuycks gonna be worked to death next season

Stop looking at the numbers and look at the guy's game.

Brossoit did a very good job considering the awefull defensive play in front of him. And still had decent numbers.

The contract I thought he would sign, just didn't think it would be back with Wininipeg.

Solid back up that can play 20-25 games. Low risk contract and very good signing.

Glad he choose to stay with WPG. Good person and deserves to be in the NHL. Now hopefully the Jets can improve the defense this up coming season.
