Sharks aren’t trading 2020 picks unless we get 2020 draft selection returns/ trade ups - per DW

Rumor has it that its actually the 1st how Guerin is getting that is amazing. Its gotta be Donato and Dubnyk with Dubnyk half retained right?
I'm not a fan of giving up 9th overall but agree Guerin should get Cirelli.

Yeah, I figured they'd basically give Dubnyk away and maybe get a 2nd if they're including Donato and lucky. I expect a 3rd to be the return if it's just a pick.

Its probably based off Russo speculation but it was echoed by San Jose hockey now.

I meant the 1st round pick. I've seen numerous credible sources saying SJ wants Dubnyk and Donato, but nothing about a potential return.

I disagree with most Sharks fans. I think that trade is pretty fair, maybe add a 6th or something small also from the Wild just because Wilson loves his late round steals, especially if the pick comes from other teams.

The ONLY reason they'd need to get out of Dubnyk's cap hit this year is if they're signing Cirelli. So that's an interesting comment by Russo.

Or to clear a roster space if they want to bring in a different goalie to compete with Stalock. They wouldn't need to pay to unload him, but I'm sure Leipold wouldn't be happy paying him to play in Iowa.
