Love fans that get blessed with good center depth and forget how valuable and rare those top centers really are

Kuzy is great but there are graphs that show he actually makes his linemates way less productive. caps also have mcmichael that is 2 year away from nhl ready

Even then, better to have in in your bottom-6. He can move up for couple of games but not long-term. He was good with Goodrow and Coleman in a checking role; not sure it will work on a scoring line as we saw during the regular season. Keep Kuznetsov.

Kuznetsov's two years younger than Spurgeon, and plays a more valuable position. Could add in Boyd for Donato to balance value, and give Minne a right-shot wing with underrated skills.

i dont see the capitals trading Kuzy. Talent > hard work.... i wish he would play to abilities … he could be a top 15 center if he ever finds some sort of consistency

Spurgeon might be one of the better RHD in the NHL? id argue originational needs wise Spurgeon is just as valuable as Kuzy...i dont htink we will ever trade Kuzy only bc when hes playing his best hes among the best players in the NHL

To WSH? Might be close to even on paper, but Kuznetsov and Ovechkin do pretty well together, sometimes, like in the 2018 playoffs, just for instance.

To Min, a 1C who has outscored Marcus Johansson in each of the last five years and is signed long term could help them. It's not like they're hurting for RHD, and this allows them to put the Dumba rumors to rest and just ice a competitive team.

I still don't buy all that wowy stuff. I saw charts and graphs that showed MIke Green was the Caps' best defensive defenseman, but they did okay without him.

2018 was amazing but dont get stuck there... Washington needs to improve on defense or we can expect similar results.... need bottom 6 scoring and better puck moving D
