I suppose Kuchervov is hoping for the bigger payday after 3 years. But really what choice do most RFAs have? If you don't have any offers, and aren't eligible for arbitration, it's Russia I suppose.
Maybe this is a start to reasonable signings of RFA., though I can't argue a player should get all he can.
