I don’t see any team outside of Minnesota having any interest in Johnson without a reason for taking his contract on. Johnson showed he was worth it with everyone watching in the bubble.

Rangers already have Zibanejad, Strome, and Chytil at center.

I really don't see the Rangers trading Lefreniere. Having him with Panarin and Zibanejad would be scary good for the next decade, but that offer is pretty tempting.

It's a creative idea but doesn't really make sense for the rangers they got centres (assuming they resign strome). It would make more sense to draft Laf and use the cap to sign UFAs.

Dude if Johnson is traded, Then there's 100% certainty that one of Cirelli or Sergachev are resigned, What's the freaking point of dealing Johnson if you plan on trading both Cirelli and Sergachev?

You are trading point, kucherov or hedman if #1 is coming back.

This would require the Rangers to add Kakko or Fox to 1OA at the bare minimum and for Kucherov and Hedman, I'd say 1OA, Kakko, AND Fox

I agree, but Panarin is 29 and Mika is 27 lol. Panarin has about 4 more good years, and Mike about 5. Nowhere close to a decade lol.

I see Cirelli as a big upgrade over all centers NYR has besides Mika. Sergavchev looks like a PP1 top pairing D man at only 23 years old. I agree this is probably never happening, but I think if proposed NYR should consider the idea.

Tampa is already at the 81.5M cap before cirelli or sergachev. Johnson being traded is basically a requirement in any scenario Tampa chooses. Also Alex Killorn is kept on the team this way.

I refuse to trade Cirelli. Having two top centers is the key to success in this league. Take killorn and another first rounder.

Point and Stamkos are your two centers
