Description
Based on a segment in the most recent 31 Thoughts Podcast.... They mentioned Necas and a defenseman (unnamed). Friedman noted that the Jets were looking for more. I used Hamilton, because the Jets will be after a RHD, and I doubt CAR is interested in losing Pesce's amazing contract... and added the 1st, to sweeten it for the Jets, since they were disinterested in just Necas and defenseman.

It would all hinge on whether Hamilton is willing to extend or not. Without an extension, I don't see the Jets doing it.

If Hamilton is extended, Laine does not have that kind of value. That would be like offering Laine for Josi

Hamilton is the best player in that trade. Hard to say CAR has to add to him to get Laine even with only having 1 yr left but definitely not adding Necas and a 1st.

You left out the part where Friedman said that it wouldn’t be Hamilton. If the canes are giving up Nevas I wouldn’t be willing to move either pesce or Hamilton. I’d do necas, Skjei, 2021 1st

Why is everyone convinced Hamilton or Laine's moving, holy **** if either of them moved the respective GM's head would be placed outside their Arena

Major overpay by Carolina on Patrik Laine, It's already been reported that they're out on the Laine sweepstakes. And Tampa declines Anthony Cirelli isn't being moved period.
