Bruins would want a top-4 NHL forward back for Carlo.

this isnt that bad but it also creates cap hell sooner than necessary

I don't know a lot about Bowers, but in that Boston deal it looks like Avs get the better goalie and the better defenseman.. and Boston, who's trying to contend for the Stanley cup, loses their starting goalie, a top-four D, and replaces them for picks and a prospect. That deal doesn't make sense for them..

Also clears up 3-4 million for Boston to go after Pie or OEL.
