They way Kravstov is playing in the KHL right now I wouldnt trade him 1 for 1 for Domi, let alone with a 1st

Domi is not a bad player, but didn’t he end up as their 4C come playoffs? I don’t think he is a guy who Gorton should get especially at such a high price tag. Kravtsov has been playing well and seems like if his confidence remains, he’s a future top 6 Winger in NY. The Rangers have Ryan Strome as 2C right now. Domi as of now isn’t an upgrade and if he is, it’s minimal. Strome does have chemistry with Panarin. If any C from MTL comes back to NYR it’d need to be Danault. Obviously Suzuki and Kotkaniemi are the future 1/2 Cs and Gorton isn’t getting either of them.

Most you getting for Domi is Howden and the 22nd pick or maybe Henrikson and the 22nd. Not a chance you see Krav in the deal.

“Trades for Success” aka Fleecing. Kravtsov is back to himself in the K, wouldn’t even trade him for Domi by himself. And 2 2nds doesn’t cover the difference between a soon to be UFA Tatar and Brock Boeser.
