Dallas isn't doing it though. Faksa was integral in their run. Top defensive center I've watched. Huge fan of him now and unfortunately wasn't as high on him as before. Solid and reminds me of Ivan Barbashev, Pavel Zacha etc. Value doesn't matter at this point. Dallas is trying to win and he's a underrated part of pushing for it.

It depends. I personally would love to see them keeping Faksa, but knowing that those bonus overages are gonna make our cap even tighter than normal I think they're forced to move players out. Cogs is probably getting bought out, they just re-signed Sekera, they need to sign another goalie if they won't bring Khudobin back...I think we're out of money, and Faksa is probably the odd man out in this regard.

Well, Wouldn't you prioritize the core? Maybe dangle some picks/prospects to dump Bishop/Cogliano/Comeau and bring back everyone?

Knowing Bowness' system, Bishop and Comeau ARE part of the core. Also if Bishop gets healthy, there's no point moving the guy. When healthy and playing as he normally would, he's an elite goalie.

I think the team isn't going to chance much.
