Trades
1.
VAN
  1. Manson, Josh
Additional Details:
We need right handed defenseman. Without losing too much cap space, we get one.
ANA
  1. Beagle, Jay
  2. 2020 7th round pick (ANA)
Additional Details:
Anaheim really needs cap space. This will give them some, and return their 7th round pick. A no-brainer in my view, especially because of Jay's defensive plays.
2.
VAN
  1. Morozov, Ivan [Reserve List]
  2. Stastny, Paul
Additional Details:
A good bottom six player plus a second round prospect. I'm in.
VGK
  1. Virtanen, Jake [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
They get cap space, and a 24 year old winger with unexplored potential. They give up a 34 year old with 1 year left on his contract year, plus a prospect who may stay in russia his whole life.
3.
VAN
  1. Kupari, Rasmus
  2. 2020 3rd round pick (CBJ)
Additional Details:
A first round pick who is Terrifying with the puck, he could very well be a top 6 forward. The risk is he had an ACL injury, which may seriously impact his play. I think the risk is worth it for the Canucks. The late third round pick is just another good addition.
LAK
  1. Benn, Jordie
  2. Gaudette, Adam [RFA Rights]
  3. MacEwen, Zack [RFA Rights]
  4. Sutter, Brandon ($375,000 retained)
Additional Details:
We are giving up an Elite centre, a young, agressive winger, a left handed defender (LA needs them), and a penalty killer. You may say that it's an overpay for someone who may never play in the NHL, remember we are cap Dumping Sutter and Benn on them.
4.
VAN
  1. 2021 4th round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
This is worth it.
OTT
  1. Eriksson, Loui
  2. Stecher, Troy [RFA Rights]
  3. 2021 2nd round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
Ottawa accepts because they can take Loui and his cap hit, and Stecher will be useful. The pick will also get them a nice selection.

Didn't Shattenkirk once say he'd never play for a Canadian team?

Ottawa passes, since they just traded for a right shot D in Josh Brown, and Eriksson would not be very welcome in Ottawa if he decided to take some shifts off. Ottawa has been building with work ethics as much as skill.

Yea, this is a pretty easy no from LA. If there's anything they don't need more of, it's center prospects. Gaudette would be, at best, the 5th best center on the team (Behind Kopitar, Byfield, Vilardi, and Turcotte).

Additionally, with the Maatta trade, the Kings have no need for LHD.

None of the teams say yes..

and in what universe is giving Shattenkirk, Smith, and Haula 4,5,6 year deal a good idea?? It's Eriksson, Beagle, and Roussel all over again

Vegas declines quite easily. No room for Virtanen, not a fan of his after watching him in the playoffs and no need to trade a top 6 C prospect to move Stastny and get a winger back. Not realistic.
