Neither team wants this. Arizona loses their top prospect and Vancouver gets worse as a team while also selling the future.

Easy no from both teams

Boeser is not and will not be involved in the deal that eventually lands OEL. Arizona will also not be trading a young defenseman to Vancouver just to take him on. If we wanted Soderstrom, we would have taken him at 10th overall last year, not acquire him one year later in a trade.

That’s really bad logic for justifying your statement. I’m sure Vancouver would “want him” but they had their reasonings for taking Podkolzin instead.

Tell me how it's "really bad logic" for me to suggest that the Canucks would have taken Victor Soderstrom at 10th overall if we wanted him. Sorry for having an opinion, something that a lot of people are pissed off that I have.

You don’t have to be sorry for stating your opinion. I’m just stating you’re logic isn’t exactly rationale. Did Vancouver have multiple first round top 11 picks last year? No, he could’ve been top on their board or 20 picks down for all we know. There also has been a year of development so they could want him more or less than his position on their draft board. Just because Detroit last year took Seider at 6 doesn’t mean they don’t want Cozens/Zegras/etc. but rather they chose Seider as he was either BPA, organizational weakness (Need), or some combination of BPA/Need.

The Yotes had Soderstrom at their #1 Pick, I was at the draft and heard rumors down there. It was also confirmed by Chayka
