That’s not going to get you close to Dougie. The rumor was that the leafs asked about dougie and that’s it. The canes aren’t moving him, and if they were it certainly wouldn’t be for that

The version of TSN that is in Quebec reported leafs are interested in Korpi, and Aaron ward said canes looked into Freddy but leafs asked for dougie in return which obviously would never happen

Obviously would love Dougie. I don't know about Korpisalo. He played well against the leafs, but the last 3 seasons he has been below average. And that is behind a really good defensive team that keeps a ton to the outside.

I’m also not sold on Korpi, but I wouldn’t be complete against it. I think he’s a much better option than Murray but I personally like a guy like Georgiev better although I’m not sure he’d get moved

That's not close to Dougie????
1st round pick, Anderson and Dermot,
He's good but that's a ton to give up

The Wild don't need Holl as they are about to sign Soucy, and have Belpideo & Addision in the minors coming up. Plus they just added Judd Brackett who has a good track record of drafting and so we'll want to keep those picks.

Dermott has 0 value to the canes. The first is fine but at the end of the day it’s magic beans and won’t be in the nhl for at least 2 years. Anderson is a small upgrade in net but doesn’t come close to the loss that Hamilton would be. I mean you are trying to acquire a Norris caliber defenseman you have to pay big time. If Hamilton is traded it’s with an extension in place and the return is Nylander +
