Dubnyk should not be on the team, but it seems like the rumor could end up being true. If we have to take Dubnyk, I would want Minnesota to retain some of his contract. If Doug Wilson gets Dubnyk with no retention, he's no magician anymore.

Dont like that offense at all. Fast is not what we need on offense, although Donato is a good sneaky pickup

Honestly I think slotting Blichfeld in where Fast is and using that money to sign a better 3rd pairing RD would be the better play

If Minnesota doesn't retain cap space the return isn't much honestly. The Sharks are essentially giving Bill the space to shape his team. If there is retention I think we'll see some picks included in the deal as opposed to prospects.
