Description
Get mad at this absolutely atrocious idea that popped into my head little by little.

I’m sure all the trades values are f***ed but I put not even zero thought into this.

Poor explanations: Kessel brings championship pedigree and you’re already paying him. Dubas wants to upgrade Freddie and in his eyes Kuemper probably is an upgrade. Reimer gets brought back for a few minutes to appease Steve dangle and then instantly traded to piss him off again. Oel waves knowing that he’ll be headed to Vancouver and gets rid of what seems to be turning into a headache for Arizona. JT Miller is a top end RW that the leafs are missing, and if Boeser isnt on the table for an OEL trade then JT Miller probably isn’t either but i don’t care.

Carolina laugh. Reimer had better stats than Freddie, makes less money than Freddie, and has a lower cap hit than Freddie. You then want Carolina's best forward prospect and a 2nd? Drop Reimer and Rees, and maybe

Does Riemer post those numbers with the leafs Defence? Canes fans seem to forget regularly that the canes have arguably the best D core in the league

Yes, the D core that actively traded to get better at the deadline because it was so damn bad outside of Slavin. Wake up kiddo. Hamilton was out, Pesce was out, Edmundson was a black hole, TvR wasn't fully healthy, Gardiner is Gardiner. Great D core? It's just Slavin

Kinda like the Leafs were without Muzzin and Rielly for a substantial extension in the Season and with out Muzzin for the last 3 games of the playoffs

Sure agreed they are - are they Skjie and Vatanen level?

Vatanen didn't play a regular season game in Carolina and yes they're better than Skjei

Lol, you can spend another on Freddie. Look at it this way if TO gets offers from Canes , Wild , Flames all at a 3rd rnd pick he goes west - the Marleau rip off still stings so not overly interested in sending the Canes anything in the way of help

Okay, then send him out west. There's no way he's an improvement on Reimer worth Rees+. At most, he's maybe worth a 2nd. That's it. I'd rather try my hand at Markstrom, Holtby, Murray etc.
