Disagree - Risto is fine offensively, but one of worst defensive d-man in league. I think he is opposite of what NJD need.

I'd say NJD declines

Miles wood is virtually useless and Carrick is a seventh D.
I didn’t think we needed Subban either but considering what we gave up I didn’t mind.

Ristolainen would be better on a different team. He's playing the wrong role on the wrong team....

canucks would have to decline that trade, due to cap problems we dont have space.

Maybe so...but right now, he is a liability on blue line and wouldn't get more than mid-round pick in a trade.



I don't have as much of a problem with Miles Wood. Carrick is fine as a 7d.
Risto would drive NJD fans bananas with the amount goals he would single-handedly give up. Bananas.

I have no problem with wood or Carrick either. But they are both easily replaceable. I don’t think Ariosto is as bad as you say. Yes defensive brain farts. But so does Sevo. Big ones

I have seen Risto pinch in from blue line, miss the puck, knock his own winger over and give up odd man rush. He is regularly at the bottom of advanced stats defensive metrics. He is the human butt-fumble.

Last thing NJD needs.
