i'd change the lines tbh

hagelin-crosby-guentzel
rust-malkin-kapanen

this is just my opinion though

I like it dude.
But Rust and Guentzel are on their off wings. Hagelin was Geno's perferred winger

well hes either getting a first back whatever team, or johnson will get traded with him and ruin the trade completely.

Both of those are a huge price to pay. And it’s easy to forget that Murray is gonna get 5 to 6 and he has more risk than most other goalies that cost that much. Also, Pittsburgh doesn’t have a credible threat to hold on to him. The leverage just isn’t there.

Or Pittsburgh can just keep both of them...

A cap dump?? Not many teams give up a top pick for a cap dump. Especially with 10, or so, ufa goalies and a bunch more on the trade block...

I doubt it, murray isn't a much better option than johnson for trading. I imagine he wants top 10 starter money probably 4-6 mil. I'd rather have 2 backs split time for that money. Because im pretty sure murrays no better than talbot, elliot, greiss, crawford, jones, and so on for goalies that are on the block or ufa's

Are there any rumors about Hagelin being moved???

Not officially, and he had a great season, with 25 points, and the most ice time by a forward on the 6th ranked PK in the league. Definitely exceeded the expectations of a 2.75M cap hit. But a bunch of Caps fans on here are looking to add a scoring wing to the 3rd line, and there aren't a lot of other movable contracts, so I see a fit there.

I think Zucker would come to WSH and play 3L, PP1, and free Kuznetsov up to play center on PP2, giving the Caps two serious power play units. Then if Seattle takes Oshie, Zucker could move to 2R next year, so the last two years of Zucker's 5.5M contract would look like good deals, as he gets back to his 50 point self. If this deal helps Pitt put together a full team this year, I think WSH could deal with the salary cap math. I posted it on the Caps side, here: https://www.capfriendly.com/armchair-gm/team/1980741

I'll be honest I followed the Caps a good bit and I thought that he really didn't have a good year. His PK play is phenomenal but I thought he wasn't getting good ice time.
