Adding Buch is too much for Danault for sure.

Winnipeg declines, needs another d prospect and or draftpicks in that package, drouin and roslovic aren’t far enough apart to seal that deal, even with pearrault involved

As of right now Drouin and Roslovic are very far apart.

Half price roslovic is better value than a 5.5 drouin imo

I can't look too far. With Allen, Weal and Tatar's 2.4 mill retention coming off the books next year, and Alzner being bought out of his last year, should be enough to pay Laine 9.5, Gallgher 6.5, bridge KK and Poehling (although Poehling could be expendable if Roslovic shows potential of 3C reliability). If Roslovic plays 3C then I can promote Ylonen if he shows potential.

The main questionmark right now is what Buchnevich will do. If he carves it up playing with Meier and KK he'll want to get paid. But at least he'll be a RFA and I'll still own his rights.

Further down the line I'll have to manage it when the time comes. Also if Seattle drafts Chariot or Edmundson I'll have an extra 3.5 mill to play with and hopefully 1 or more of our LD prospects (Struble, Norlinder, Harris) will be ready.

Maybe. But the way I see it is Drouin and Domi had career years playing together 2 yrs ago (last yr Drouin missed over 3 months with fractured wrist). So acquiring them together you'll be maximizing their potential.

Fair enough, I just believe your a brook or 2nd rounder away from making a deal there, jets always live and die on drafting and developing. Also a extension on domi would be interesting, wpg doesn’t normally hand out large contracts to recently acquired players, little bit of loyalty to most, domi getting rather close to free agency, I still think his preferred destination is Toronto and khadr type replacement, with a Bit of a hometown discount possibly
