Looks like the wings didn't want him for a 2nd in 2022 like everyone on here thought, same with bjugstad and maata. 0-3 cap friendly folks.

The pens had no need for a bottom pairing LHD w a bad contract when they got an even worse one in Matheson

Considering all the $hit his parents put him through....a 50 year rent free lease.. W in the actual F is that?!?! Couldn't have happened to a better guy. His 2 years of service will result in $15M in Salary...yup $15M for his services... and now he becomes a UFA.

Good move for the pens for his buyout

He deserves to be paid IMO so I’m glad he atleast got this past contract and hope he gets 1 more contract
