I think it would take a bigger contract than that to lure Sergachev away from the team he just won the Cup with.

I don’t disagree with you, but Tampa has some work to do to get him signed. Ultimately I think he stays in Tampa, but if there’s the off chance he wants to come to another team on the up and up, you never know.

I think he would listen to qualifying offers, but I think someone would have to overpay to get him to agree to one.

If Sergachev is going to leave Tampa, it's likely going to be because another GM has called him and worked out an acceptable package in return.

Sorry but that not even close for Ekblad. Easy pass for Florida

FLA would definitely want the 2021 1st, but I’ve used that in the Sergachev OS.
I felt that Rathbone being our top D prospect, along with Boeser (top 6F) and a 1st would be good with the 2nd would be good.
What his value? I know it’s a lot.

At the minimum 3 premium assets. The 2022 first isn’t premium. So the Cats would want 2nd line center, top defensive prospect (Woo/Rathbone), and high picks in this year’s draft but seeing that you don’t have that it would take another top prospect center or winger
          Skytown liked this.
