Why does Florida do that? And next years first? Doesn’t make a ton of sense for them at all

There is no way Florida moves Ekblad without a significant piece going in the opposite direction, and Arizona is trying to get rid of salary for next season not take on more.

Trading your teams 2 best dmen and a solid prospect, and get nothing of consequence in return? Bold strategy, Florida...

I get that you like it, but maybe you could provide some detail about why you think these moves are realistic? Arizona has extra goalies, no chance they want another one (and no chance they retain salary).

Florida has lost out of huge value here, why would they make this move? How does it help their team get better?

Starting an ACGM thread is like starting a conversation. You can't start a conversation with saying "who cares, I'm right." Tell people who you're right, discuss what you were thinking.

Andersen is only owed $1M in salary. He received $4M via bonus already.

They would be getting rid of salary. Freddie is only owed 1 million next season, its his cap hit that is 5 million so Kuemper costs more in real money which is what Arizona are trying to save

Because ownership told them to shed 10m

They are still retaining 1.5M across two years, they wont be spending 3M on a player not playing for them in this salary crunch.

They still have to pay him 3M, they will not be paying players to not play for them.

Wrong...Zito was asked about that when he was hired and he stated that he hasn’t been given any such mandate to cut payroll.

i didnt say ''I'm right". and it doesnt matter who you trade or sign the only comments you get on this site is people comments ''no from ______'' Ive viewed hundreds or maybe thousands of acgm's and its all the same, if it were up to the people that use this site there wouldnt be another trade in the history of the league because everyone over values their own players. Leaf haters would of said no way can you get a first for Kapanen but they did, no way they can sign Tavares but they did. I create acgms because its fun and passes time not because i care what others think or think that the trades i purpose will actually happen

It is kind of funny. All those leafs haters were saying Kapanen would get a late second. If you were to suggest even the 31th overall pick they would tear you apart. You do whatever you want, I do not care.
