The Oil have no need for this. Can sign a Kulak equivalent at UFA, there are many. EDM fwd cupboards are bare, as sad as it is Lavoie is the BEST prospect they have up front.

I think you undervalued Chytil. He’s a tremendous good young hockey player with a lot of upside. Max Domi did 72pts alone playing with Andrew Shaw. He deserves a lot more credit. And the idea of Deangelo is to create a first pair of defense in 3 years with Romanov because I’m not sure we have a top 4 on the RHD (Fleury, Juulsen, brook). Gauthier is able to score and he could find his game here in Mtl. Poehling has to play and Caufield will step in next year.

I don't think I am underrating anyone. DeAngelo will never be a top pair defenseman because he is abysmal defensively. Chytil is a good young piece but I do not foresee him staying at center and despite being younger Kotkaniemi is simply a better player.

If you are going to move Kotkaniemi, add more than a 2nd a FLeury and add a star player.
