Doubt the habs trade Romanov, Suzuki, KK, Norlinder, Primeau and Caufield. Everyone else should be available. Also CBJ HAS to add. that is not a fair trade.

For Laine Caufield could be given up IMO , and yes a little more could def be added to the columbus trade

So the Jets get another 1st round pick which is good but lose their 2nd, a UFA center, a diminutive prospect with no contract and a small dman similar to the many small dmen the Jets already have too many who also needs a raise, yeah no thanks to this from a Jets perspective.

Obviously it would have other implications like danault signing an extension etc... If you think you get more than that package for Laine you're high... The guy is a great scorer but he only actually plays the whole game half of the time

No that's not obvious and can't be counted on when trading a player of Laine's talents, Chevy should get fired for making any assumptions like a Danault extension.

More false narratives about Laine from the same people making trade proposals for him.

I watch winnipeg play regularly so no false narratives he is a lots of the time (very skilled player) but definitely lacks a two way game ...It wouldnt be assumptions it would be worked into the deal in some way (use your imagination) ... This is a fair deal to thing otherwise is nonsense

You're not watching close enough!

Can't make assumptions about anything.

Said it wasn't worth the risk, guess its fair idk but it's not worth the risk.
