Draft Day - Very Doubtful but Still A Great Team

Description
Let me first say: I don't think the Caps will trade Orlov. GM praised him for his performance this year.
But hypothetically if he were to be traded for draft picks (as the Caps have a pretty brutal prospect pool), what does Orlov go for? Would the Caps get a 1st and 3rd (or a solid prospect) for a Top 4 LHD? Bura got a 2nd and 3rd. Does Orlov get a 2nd, 3rd, and a late pick (5th)? Thoughts?

Again, I do not think this will happen. But this would be a pretty dominant team. You would have a solid forward group with depth. Your defense would be strong both on the right and left. Goalie tandem is solid. You start to rebuild the prospect pool with the addition of 3 future picks (or 2 picks + solid prospect). AND you leave money in the bank.

Orlov would get a 1st+. He's a great top pairing shut down guy with some offense to his game. On a good contract as well. Like you said Caps love him so doubt they move but if they did it would have to be for a lot.

Hey, wanted to hit you up on a different thread. That post you just commented on, it wasn't the first account to trade Hutton to WSH. They seem to come from accounts that don't type any comments. They started after I made a sarcastic post where WSH offered Copley and someone decent for Hutton (to bury or buy out) and a couple of terrific prospects, I think. Someone's AI misinterpreted that as the idea that the Caps want Hutton, and now it's trying to figure out Hutton's exact value to Caps fans. The only question is whether it's doing this just to crowd-source opinions on different player valuations or training an AI to learn how fans value all hockey players.

edit: and the best idea I can think of is to mess with it.
