Sabres have plenty of bad RHD they don’t need anymore.

You’re joking right? If they need defence they can just resign some guys. Right wing is a huge need and I think they would jump all over this.

lmao no chance. You want Andersson you better have Matthews in the conversation. Otherwise he is not available at all. Flames top 6 is widely considered too soft and Nylander is like the last player they need. why would Calgary want an inferior version of Gaudreau, while still having Gaudreau? Horrible take

Not even close. They can realistically sign Brodie, Hamonic isn't expected to play, Stone isn't viable and Andersson is so much more valuable than Nylander is. 6 years under 5 million or walk a guy to FA at nearly 7 million. Makes zero sense, Calgary can go get Toffoli for less without giving up an untouchable asset.

Im dead serious, only player on Toronto I would move Andersson for is Matthews. Obviously not 1 for 1, Flames clearly add. But no other player is enticing enough to move our 23 year old #2.

Then forget it. No Nylander for you. Absolutely no reason why the leafs would want to take an enormous downgrade in talent and value just to fill a team need.

No, Muzzin is better. But in their prime, I would agree he will be on the same level.

I am serious, to get Matthews Tkachuk is probably the main piece going back with Andersson being the secondary piece

Oh ok, I was worried you thought Tkachuk and Anderson combined would be worth more than Matthews. I agree Tkachuk and Anderson for Matthews is fair.

This year Muzzin had a GAR of 10.1 and Andersson 7.2. However last year Muzzin had a 5.1 with the Leafs (4.2 with LAK), where as Andersson had 10.8.

Andersson had a CF of 52% averaging 20 minutes a night. Muzzin had a 53% CF averaging 21 minutes. Muzzin was better this year nut they are both really close
