Reports say teams want 1st+2nd to retain 50% and send him elsewhere. You don't get a 1st for MAF at 3.5m lol, you're the one paying.

No, Vegas is offering a 2nd round pick with 50% of Fleury's salary retained if someone takes him off their hands. They are just trying to clear cap.

No, they aren't. They offered a 2nd for Fleury at 100%. Teams were interested in Fleury at 4-5M, so the next step for them has been to find a middle man, and the middle men want a 1st+2nd to retain 50% of Fleury's cap hit.

Not to mention if you REALLY think they would ever retain 50% themselves AND pay, then you're out of lunch. They would buy him out instead.
