am i the only habs fan that kinda liked cousins?

I like him a lot. And I think that other people did as well. I think it was just a lot of people frustrated that he was on the PP.

I didn’t mind him. I don’t see the point in signing him tho. They have Evans and Weal to play 4C and lehky and Byron 4W they need another LW that can produce for Kk line

This would be in addition to signing another forward (which in this team is Kovalchuk).
Weal is hasn’t played C since his first game or two on the habs. And it seems like he’s played his last game in a habs uniform. As the playoffs showed, CJ doesn’t trust him. I’d love to have Cousins in the same role that he was in to start last year, as a 13th forward that can slot into any position in the lineup.

Dont forget we are still full of small wingers.

Cousins can play C though. And there’s really not too many cheap 13th forwards that can play centre in the UFA market.

Weal, Evans, Poehling, Vejdemo, Teasdale. Pick one.

Nothing on the market more interesting.

Evans will be the full time 4C. Weal is gone. And I’d rather that Vejdemo, Poehling, & Teasdale get more ice time in Laval rather than being a healthy scratch for most of the games.
