Honestly I think it's a good deal for both teams. Because TOR is going nowhere without any defense.

he literally was just not qualified, meaning hes a UFA in a couple days. You can probably get him for half of that

I'm impressed. I saw the title and saw the Jackets logo and thought "this is going to be another Seth Jones poach attempt, isn't it". But it wasn't!

I'm kind of worried about the value of Dermott in that deal, tho. For one, we're already grossly overstrength at LD, and for another, I'm not sure what kind of money he wants and therefore whether or not we can afford to pay him.
