Is a team comprised of all the unqualified RFAs better than the 19-20 Wings

Created by: Radu47
Team: 2020-21 Custom Team
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 7, 2020

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Theoreticals are fun

Man, what a year for stupidity, even with the stagnant cap most teams absolutely had room for these valuable assets

Had to create everyone so the cap hits are approximate and extra details are whatever

Assumeling they filled the remaining spots with low key FA signings like Gustafsson, Leivo, Kinkaid and they took on some 1 year anchor contracts to hit the cap floor

The key question is how good would this team be?

Goalies are worse. Top talent is worse, but depth is kind of better

With so many teams doing it, it's not the CAP. It's the cash.
Billionaires are even broke(relative).
Worste year to be a UFA.
Why hall said he'd take a short term deal.

It's still pretty bad, even if you add Koekkoek and probably Drake Caggiula. I'd say it's a race to the bottom between them at Detroit

This team is slightly worse than DET imo. The depth is comparable but DET at least has some (admittedly relatively lower quality) star players (Larkin/Mantha) and also has the edge in goal (Bernier is better than both Kinkaid and Forsberg by quite a bit imo). This team has better defense though, Ill give them that

Yup about that. I have them about even with the 19-20 Senators due to so many underrated young players either in prime or moving there. Most of these players are analytically impressive and the positive Corsi of this team alone would save ~15 goals.

It's underrated how extremely horrible the depth of that Detroit team was... Abdelkader & Ehn *combined* for 7 total points lol

Either way this is a pretty nifty young core

They have no revenue. It's why you saw no money being moved today.
All we've seen as far as cap dumps has been Stall and Bonino.
Turris is the biggest(long term pain) buyout.
You'll see soon. Pietro, Hall, your gonna say these guys signed cheap.

Dont you think St Louos would see him as a 9 Mil guy?
Owners not willing to pony up right now.
They came in at 7.7

Depth is the same/better than Detroit but at least Detroit has some top talent in Larkin/Mantha/Bertuzzi/Hronek and Bernier is significantly better than both goalies. That being said, Detroit was AWFUL last year
