I don't see Stecher getting 2 million if the Canucks wouldn't keep him at $2.4.

Honestly 2.65 for 4 years. Like what Walker got. Stetcher is intriguing and could be a good partner with Rielly.

I signed him for $2.5 million. There are a number of defensmen ahead of him in the pecking order hat will eat up available cap room. My hunch is he ends up with what he made last season.

My guess is the Canucks didn't qualify him because I believe he had arbitration rights, which given the Canicks position may have been a dangerous game.

Maybe the Canucks hope they can get him back at $2 million even....just like the Leafs not giving a Q.O. to the player Dubas got in a trade, Rodrigues, Dubas is probably going to still offer him a contract but below the Q.O. price ($2), probably $1.25 million.
