Team: 2020-21 Winnipeg Jets
Team Explanation
1 year stop gaps to give the youth a year to develop in a more sheltered role. There won't be any offer sheets this year because GMs play chicken, but Pulock is everything the jets want and need and is prime for an OS.

I hope I didn’t start a trend of 30 threads with stastny and Martinez to wpg trades LOL. I don’t actually mind the trade for vegas considering they’d get pietrangelo if they did this. I like what you did, perfetti imo has a chance to stick with the team, though I think they’ll send him down after 9 games.

I’m not convinced Pulock is worth that contract. I don’t think he’s that big of a step up from Pionk. Pionk has 0.49 PPG, Pulock 0.46. Obviously points aren’t everything, but that’s a lot of draft picks and cap space for a minor upgrade. Also if Perfetti isn’t ready for 2C (probably not although if we don’t start until January...) then he should be sent back to Saginaw

Winnipeg isn’t taking almost 11M in salary without getting a huge add.
Love the idea of offer sheeting Pulock

Cole Perfetti is nowhere near NHL ready, His skating is atrocious hence why he fell to 10th overall. Perfetti needs at least 2 more seasons in Saginaw minimal.

atrocious is an exaggeration, but I do agree he isnt NHL ready and would benefit from a year or two in the OHL

I like the deal for the jets, but not sure if Vegas would do it. SUre they need cap space, but individually i think you can find homes for Stastny and Martinez and get better return

Yea let’s not jump off the deep end here... atrocious skating does not put up 111 points in 61 games. He’s a bit undersized, needs to build up his lower half strength 9 games in the nhl and then back to the O will do him good. He’ll be a jet by 2021-22.
