Does Rackell actually PLAY center? He could be a good replacement for Danault IFFF he doesn't want to re-sign.

If the Ducks move Rakell itll be for quality not quantity a 1st + not 2 seconds

He hasnt on a regular basis, Hes been solely a winger for 4 and a half seasons now, he isnt nearly as effective in the middle, he played a bit of C between 14-16 but was always primarily a W in the NHL

Rackell for 1st but nothing else AND top 10 protected.

Then I don't see the Habs needing Rackell. We already have so many bottom-9 wingers. Armia, Lehkonen, Byron, Anderson, Drouin, Weal (Very Angry ), and maybe even Peohling now.

Yeah I agree with you there, Rakell is best on the left side, but he wouldnt be worth the cost for MTL, I dont see it as a fit, especially after Anderson
