I didn't say it was a bad deal. Learn to read.

Every comment you have made is negative towards the deal. "To be fair".

The [-9] in the AHL certainly does, especially for a guy with zero offense.

He was playing on a bad Laval team with Charlie Lindgren, Zachary Fucale, and a rookie Michael McNiven in net. The team went 24-42-10, and had a goal differential of negative 75.

Edit: That’s a 3.70 GAA, and all 3 goalies had sub-.900 save percentages.

Great signing he's a good player, if healthy will push for the 6-7 d spot

To add to that, in 44 NHL games he has 8pts and a +6 rating.

He had just established himself as an NHL defenseman before the injury and had top4 upside. Now after 2 years away, he has to see if he can get back on track. This is a good signing for both sides. Zero risk, high reward (relatively speaking).

Two-way but waivers eligible

He could be in the 23 men roster. I would not want to lose him

I would be chocked if he was claimed by another team, since they would need to keep him in the NHL. If they would send him down, he would go back on waivers anf MTL would have priority to claim him back and send him to Laval.

Juulsen is a not-so-good AHL player that is weirdly idolized by habs fans for absolutely no reason.

Good option if there's a lot of injuries, but overall, he shouldn't play in the NHL as he's not good enough.

He is a 1st round pick with concussions.

He does have the talent to make the NHL, as he showed before getting 2 pucks to the face.

I don't care where he was selected. He didn't drive offense nor did he play particularly well defensively. You can get that type of player anywhere in free agency.

He has +5 in 21 NHL games before his injuries.

You are a real party pooper.

None of my comments were negative towards the deal. I was negative towards the player though, certainly. I think MTL fans should cool their jets on this guy - there's a decent chance he doesn't become a full-time NHLer.

You don't actually watch hockey, do you? You know a guy can get injured and it'll impede their performance? Like, that happens literally all the time. He clearly stood out when he was healthy, that's why fans and management want to keep him lol

I can tell you don't watch the games or even research the player. One of those "take a quick look at his points and +/- and my mindset is already made.

Of all players that played more than 500 minutes in the past 3 seasons, he's got the 2nd worst Expected Goals against rate per 60 minutes of all defensemen at 5v5

Congrats. Let's remember he was a 21 YO rookie playing 2nd pairing because Weber was hurt. That's expected.

People on here are nuts. It's pretty bad when they collectively make HF seem rational.

The question is: is he good enough to replace any given player in the 6 d-men? No, he's simply not.

Yes. He can easily slot onto the 3rd pair and play there comfortably. Look at who he played with while there. He was boosting players up, not bringing them down.
