Description

So the BIG questions are, Do the Pens go after any real star in Free Agency? Do they just go with what they have in the system? Is there another trade on the way? If there is an offer for Malkin or Letang? Do they take it if it's good enough?

So far I've been up and down with this off-season. Mixed feelings about the Kapanen trade just because of losing the 15th overall pick but I feel that Kap can, and should, do great things in Pitt. Understood the Hornqvist (cap space) trade but wasn't thrilled with the return. Did a dance of JOY for the buyout of JJ! Was very happy with the Murray trade and who they took in the draft.

Wennberg has been bought out. Definitely a guy I would like to take a chance on. Jesper Fast is another guy I like. Troy Stretcher could be a nice add to the right side of the D if the pens are looking to solidify the back end.
