kinda all over the place here. Petro isn't going to take a deal that low. Major over payment for hjalmarsson. The grubes trade makes 0 sense. 5mil for 4 years of hoffman isn't a bad deal though, if he takes that i'd be fine with that pick up

This one is intriguing. Grubauer has serious durability concerns, but, low-risk, high-reward chances for Detroit. I'd take that. Colorado frees up the crease for Fleury/Francouz and clears some space, Detroit gets a goalie that can be a number 1 if he can stay healthy. Win-Win.

Not to sell us short, because I'd certainly like the 3rd round pick, but to be honest, Detroit does this deal without Colorado including the 3rd, as Grubauer is in the final year of his deal, so no long term risk there if it doesn't work out.
