From what I heard ther're set on players: Bjork/Vaak as center pieces. Steen/Lauko as additional prospects and a 2nd

They get one of Bostons best prospects and the rebuild starts.

If ARZ was willing to retain this much he would have been in VAN by now.

OEL for Vaak and a bunch of fringe guys, unless i'm missing something on the other guys you listed, i really don't see it happening.

They are specifically getting rid of OEL to spend less money. Are they spending less or more??? So I am not sure about this deal at all.

Giving one young player, three prospects with NHL potential and getting back a $6.6M dman who plays like a $5M D? (And that's without the seven years with full NMC)

Lauko is very good prospect. Watch out for him next season. Steen his a bottom six grit guy, with some skill. Kind of like an Andrew shaw.

They are packed with futures. Like packed. They have Merkely, Bahl, Hayton, Soderstrom and Hill. All our going to be excellent NHL players. But ok.

Dont think Lauko is a highly rated prospect i mean he might be good but he hasnt thrown up any crazy numbers and he's a smaller guy something the coyotes have too much of , steen has very little value and had just 23 points in 60 ahl games , hes more of a depth player at best

I'm not saying Lauko is a Newhook type prospect that is going to be a stud. But he isn't given many looks and I think once he translates his game to North America he is going to be a solid middle six player. Steen's ceiling is nothing more than a third-liner, but even those types of players carry significant value. Just look at Goodrow and Coleman with TB. Also his first year in America playing hockey so hopefully this year would have been better.

Lauko can definitly be a piece in this deal but there has to be more and i think the coyotes are asking for Carlo or DeBrusk as a starter but not sure if boston wants to give up either one
