With this one they are but I have to commend them they work rly hard to keep up w a lot of the moves in the nhl. It goes unappreciated sometimes but they do a great job at keeping up w the news, including waiver moves

That’s exactly what I thought. Very odd total.

Thought they were going to move on from him. Didn’t bring much to a 17win team.

It'd be about 200k.

his previous contract was 1.05M, and QO is 120% of previous contract

Ok but still they have so much cap space it’s not like it would’ve made a difference

Still don't know why Detroit drafted draft assets for a guy to play on their fourth line and help tank but okay.

I think Yzerman partially only resigned him because he gave up a 4th for him. Maybe Erne turns a corner next year, but as a Detroit fan I don’t see it. I’d rather see Svechnikov/Smith/Rasmussen/Hirose in the lineup than Erne

Ok. But it is showing him as an RFA afterwards? Since he wasn't qualified, wouldn't he be a UFA? And did I miss that there was a period of time in between not being qualified and still being property of a team where you can sign before free agency starts?

I also see Hirose's contract hasn't been updated. It looks like he went through the same thing.
