I think Marner is a much better fit for CBJ than a Gaudreau or Laine.

They also wanted to offersheet him last year. Not sure if TOR would do it and what they would want in return, but it’s an interesting idea

My bet is they try to blow Hall out of the water. 2-3 years at 9mil per or something ridiculous. Bridge PLD and let Hall walk after so you can pay PLD the big bucks then

they apparently did offer sheet him but he didnt accept it. 13 mill for 8 years or something.

Anyways if Toronto was to move marner

Columbus better be prepared to lose some guys, based on Dubas wanting toughness Folingo would be one of the guys of interest the rest no idea.

Do you have confirmation this is still the case? I have a hard time believing they'd still wanna move him after the Murray and Nutivaara trades unless it's been confirmed since they were made. Only way I could really see him being moved is if they're in hard on Pietrangelo.
