You're not even close on what it will take for teams to absorb salary... Boychuk will require a significant add to even consider it... we're talking Boychuk, a 1st AND possibly another piece, for a conditional 7th...

Then pass and keep him. He is a 36 year old defenseman making 6 million for two years. Why would we dictated by Islanders, we have the space and you do not.
