You should be able to get Kahun for less, and you should be able to get an actual NHL goalie for $3M.

Honestly I’d keep kosk. I know he’s not a “young” guy but he’s only been in the league briefly and has shown improvement. Have we seen the best of him yet I don’t think so and am happy with him thus far. If can get holtby for that I’m ok.

Why less for Kahun. His production was good. I could see less if it's only 1 year.

Holtby is an NHL goalie. I'm probably too low even. Who would you target.

I think Kiosk and Holtby would be a tandem. Kiosk has proven he can't be a full time guy and needs to evenly split games

I’ll be real happy when every ACGM doesn’t have a bjork for Chiasson trade.

Agreed. I see a lot of people wanting to replace him I just don’t see a reason to. He’s the most reliable goalie we have had in a very long time in my opinion.

61 goalies played 15+ games last season, or basically 2 per team. Of those, Holtby was 53rd in Sv%, meaning he wasn't as good as an average backup.

If we look at the past 3 years and adjust the filter to 50 games, we get a total of 62 goalies. On that list, Holtby ranks 47th in Sv%, well below starter level.

There are literally dozens of better options, many of who would be cheaper, too. You're paying for the name brand, not for substance.

Idk if I'd say reliable considering the play in round. He is good enough with the right guy backing him up

Ya but if put much weight into that play in round there’s 22 other players on the roster that deserve a ton of heat.
