I love this signing because its not the Flyers. Dude was lost out there for us. Hopefully, he returns to CA and has success. Like that he gets good money and long term (for the type of player he is).

JFreshHockey puts him at about 1.7 million so I think this is a great contract. Term's a little iffy, but not horrible.

I love this guy. Always plays well for us. Overjoyed to have him back. And we gave him three years, too -- marvelous!

Now watch - we'll lose him in the expansion draft.

YES and NO so I gave him a yes because he's not expensive and he comes to play each night. The Contract is tradable and I think he will be traded away again at some point to a team that has a big injury and needs a Center but this is like eating Vanilla Ice Cream.

Its ok Seattle will trade him back to Anaheim for a 6th.
