Description
Brodie is playing for $2.5 million this year. Guys are taking paycuts this season hoping to put more in their pocket for retirement. Why not play for cheap on a good team and try to win, then see who's lined up next year in a clearer, less crowded market? Hall's coming. I like how the Hall deal is such a specific number to fit under the capspace the team has available. I'm not Hall but I can almost guarantee he doesn't sign for under 6.5 million.

You're not thinking big enough. They need to get Petro for 1 year at league min as well, and trade Kerfoot for Seth Jones.
