Absolutely, their defense is solid, also have potential and grit at forward group. They have lots of potential and depth on AHL, but their lack of experience and skills on goalies is a major issue for them.

They basically had this exact team last season minus a 2 time cup champ goalie and a vezina finalist goalie. They would've missed the playoffs by quite a bit last year under normal circumstances. They're gonna be battling for last in the league with this team

I'm really not trying to be mean here. I'm a huge Hawks fan. They had the worst defense in the NHL last year. I don't think this D is even playoff caliber D. They do need to develop Boqvist and Mitchell...I'm sure it'll get better as they develop, but goal isn't the only problem the have.

Yeah, I guess that you know more about Hawks cause you are Hawks fan, which I am not. I think that if Seabrook can get healthy, De Haan is healthy, their d group is not necessarily good but not bad either. It depends a lot of whether their defense can stay healthy and how big step Boqvist does in his development.
