I dont ind this at all but I would like to see the Jets give Gustafsson a shot and if hes not ready than you can slide a depth veteran like Thompson in there. But overall I could see this happening.

Personally, I would like gus to play in the ahl one year. I think there is offensive potential there so hopefully he can unlock it while playing with Vesalainen, then both of them can come up together after the expansion draft

With still so many forwards available for dirt cheap, I don’t see much of a market for perreault.

Really like the Thompson signing, solid 4C and a veteran to a young lineup, in a perfect world they'd trade Lowry and free up some cap space for a dman addition.

Should've signed Pysyk, versatile RHD who also plays wing, for $750K you can't go wrong.

I wonder if there’s a pto or two in camp, bolster some depth at Center position and defense to prevent on rushing upon injury. I just pray that Gustafsson and two kids on lhd, force there spots and embarrassment of riches. One year of stasny or a cheap version in another year for pp, only good if the kids come fast and lighten his role and min

Thompson should not be anything more then an injury player for us but that’s just my opinion

Most likely going to be:
81-55-26
27-25-29
58-28-82
9-17-85
Thompson, Suess

He’s been great for the Habs, he’s still a NHLer

Thompson is still very good and is a lot like Tanev in terms of style. He’s also very good in his own end. Imo, maurice won’t split copp-Lowry-Roslovic so they needed a 4c. I’m surprised he was this cheap, I expected a raise

Trading Lowry is not the perfect world, at all. This team is a lot smaller and less physical then when they had buff/Myers/Tanev/Chiarot. They need Lowry

He's a plug, Thompson does the same thing for 2.2 less million, they need a cheap 4th line scrapper, a guy like Matt Martin.

Also they need a bigger physical dman, too small on defense, should sign Forbort or Hutton maybe

Nice call on the Forbort signing. Lowry isn’t a plug. He’s good, can throw a hit and a punch, and is clutch in the playoffs
