Which RD are you aiming for UFA? Trading? What's the plan with Jost now?

i think they are probably done baring a jost trade. avs still have to worry about bonuses too

The UFA market for Dmen is pretty sparse now, with only Pietrangelo, Vatanen, Hamonic, or Gustafsson being decent. Only Vatanen would be of interest (other than Pietrangelo but he probably isn't realistic now). A trade for a Dman seems more likely, with Martinez/Savard/Larsson/Demers probably the ones who fit best cap-wise.

Jost might get resigned, but it depends how pricey it is to add another Dman, and what Graves' caphit will be.

Not sure Larsson will be available currently. Barrie/Bear/Bouchard rightside wouldn't give Oilers a Dzone start option

I wonder if they look at adding a left-shot defenseman to play with Makar. I would assume they would need to move Cole to do so. Maybe there’s an opportunity to package with Jost for an upgrade.
