Overall, I think your proposal is pretty realistic in terms of Toffoli and Korpisalo along with the RFAs (but then again, what's reality to this management and ownership?). The only question is the DeHaan trade and that the end result is a team cap just $1M under the limit when all of the reports suggest the Sabres are targeting mid-70s.

It's hard to know if Pilut's underusage and being stuck in the AHL last season was more of Botterill's doing or Krueger's doing; if the former (which is hard to believe, given he signed Pilut in the first place), then there's hope that Pilut may have an out on his Russian contract and would be plugged in as the only partner who has had success with Ristolainen (and who we know Krueger loves and want to play top 4 minutes again with).

Oh anything positive is a pipe dream for this franchise. It's sickening. Pilut isn't coming back.
