I’m not exactly sure where to put this post, but I’ll just put it here and it can be moved if necessary.
So I was reading the rules for Qualifying Offers, and I was wondering specifically about Charles Hudon. He was on a 1-way $800 K contract last year, and was qualified by the habs.
However, he does not meet the requirements of receiving a 1-way qualifying offer, and the calculator lists his QO as a 2-way contract. If this is the case, how would the AHL salary of his QO be determined, since there’s no AHL salary from last season to go off of?
