What would you change? Note: I didn't take in the needs to teams I just ranked them

I see about 3 or 4 names that have dropped in your rankings yet are already playing against men in various leagues and playing well.

FYI, Robertson was supposed to go top three in the 2020 draft

Right now Dach is the best player in the class. Not sure how you justify him being 6th, especially when 3 of the guys ahead of him haven't played in the NHL yet and the other 2 have been disappointing to say the least. Don't get me wrong I think Hughes and kaki will be great players, but if the point of this post is a redraft based on what we've seen after 1 year, Dach is #1 by far

I think he could be around top 10 if he was in the 2020 draft

good point it was just very hard to rank. I just did it by what I think their ceiling would be.

tbh Dach was slightly better than Hughes and Kakko but he doesn't have as high of a ceiling as Turcotte, Byram, and Zegras. and Kakko and Hughes were very unlucky this year to say the very least.

Analytically, Kakko was the worst player in the league... now Im not saying hes **** and wont get better, but i wouldnt call that unlucky

I would say it is a bit. I know analytically he was. However Dach wasn't way better than him. However you did see some potential in him from his PP

I 100% disagree. As a guy that watched him every game and watched him evolve in the playoffs, he absolutely has high end 1C potential

He did improve a lot in playoffs but are you serious lmao. He won't even be a top 20 centre imo. Maybe with 1-2 elite seasons. I think he will be a low end 1st line centre at best

We'll you're a canadiens fan so that would make sense. You guys don't know what a real 1C looks like over there

I'm definetely biased as a Leafs fan but I doubt Robertson would fall outside of the top-10

Seider had a great season in the AHL in only his D+1 season. Just under 0.5 PPG while looking really strong defensively. 3rd best total points all time for D+1 defencemen, which is impressive as he was drafted as a defence first defencemen. 6 Points in 7 games for Germany in the WJC, even +/- on a team that finished bottom of their group.
I absolutely agree some of the forwards should jump him based on their own performance, rather than as the result of him underperforming, but I don't think he should be any lower than the 2nd defenceman in the draft.

The thing about being truly crazy...is that there's an unlimited amount of crazy. It knows no bounds.

The reason the Hawks drafted Dach over Tuecotte and Byram...was because he had the highest ceiling. Its not like he scored a ton like Cozens in the WHL. Its because his ceiling was higher down the road and not the other way around.

Intresting. Personally after Byram it gets really close. I jut don't think Seider has as high of a ceiling as the rest but that is by the slightest. However Seider really impressed me this season. After a bunch of guys it gets close and it was hard for me but I think I ****ed up. I think I should make another one and take another crack at this ngl

he is tho Danault is way better defensively and is has a great offensive impact However the thing holding him back is his horrible shot. Toews on the other hand fell off a cliff defensively and is now bad at it, he has an ok impact offensively however he has a great shot. Danault is one of the best defensive forwards in the league. The reason why some people think Toews is still good is because of his reputation.
